Privacy Policy
Last updated: 13 August 2026
This policy covers the website amxapp.com. Each Android app published by AMX Dev has its own policy, because each one handles data differently — read the policy for the app you use:
- FPS Unlocker – Gaming Tool privacy policy — free, ad-supported.
- FPS Monitor — GPU FPS Tracker privacy policy — free, ad-supported · optional premium subscription.
- AMX Screen Recorder privacy policy — free, no ads · optional pro unlock.
The Short Version
None of the apps require an account, a sign-in, or personal verification, and AMX Dev operates no servers that store user data. Settings you change stay on your device.
FPS Unlocker and FPS Monitor are ad-supported and include Google AdMob; FPS Unlocker also includes Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics. Those services collect technical device data as described in each app's policy. AMX Screen Recorder contains no advertising and no analytics library of its own.
This website carries advertising through Google AdSense, which sets cookies. What that means, and how to opt out, is in Advertising and Cookies below.
Data the Apps Handle
- Settings and preferences — frame-rate presets, overlay position, recording quality. Stored locally on your device and removed when you uninstall the app.
- Recordings — files created by AMX Screen Recorder are written to your device storage, in
Movies/AMXRecorder. They are never uploaded anywhere. - Permissions — permissions granted through Shizuku are used solely to apply the settings you choose, on your device, for as long as the app is running.
- Advertising and diagnostics — in the ad-supported apps, Google's SDKs may collect device model, OS version, app usage statistics, crash reports, IP address and Advertising ID. See the individual app policies for the full list.
Data This Website Handles
The site is a static website. It asks for no account, no sign-in and no personal details, and AMX Dev operates no server that stores anything about you. Your theme preference (light or dark) is kept in your browser's local storage and never leaves your device.
Hosting infrastructure may keep standard server logs — IP address, user agent, requested URL — for security and reliability. These logs are not used to build a profile of you.
Advertising and Cookies
This site is free to read because it carries advertising served through Google AdSense. Advertising involves cookies, so this is worth setting out plainly:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or to other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. Opting out does not remove ads — it makes the ones you see less relevant.
- You can opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info/choices.
- How Google uses data when you use a partner's site is described in Google's partner-sites policy.
Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies in their own settings. Blocking cookies does not break this site — nothing here needs them to work.
If You Are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland
Visitors from those regions are shown a consent message before personalised advertising cookies are set, and can accept, refuse or change that choice at any time. Refusing means you still see ads, but non-personalised ones. Under the GDPR you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data held about you — write to [email protected]. Since the site itself stores nothing about you, most such requests are best directed to Google, as the party that actually processes advertising data.
If You Are in California
AMX Dev does not sell personal information, and does not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising beyond the advertising cookies described above, which you can opt out of using the links in that section.
Third-Party Services
Links to Google Play, Telegram, YouTube and other services lead to sites with their own privacy policies. Once you follow a link, that service's policy applies rather than this one.
Children
Neither this website nor the apps are directed at children under 13, and no personal information is knowingly collected from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information, write to [email protected] and it will be deleted.
Changes
If this policy changes, the "last updated" date above changes with it. Material changes will also be announced on the Telegram channel.
